Partners

This project is based on a close partnership between six schools located in six different countries. The different partners are presented below.

SU "Sveti sveti Kiril i Metodii"

The SU "Sveti sveti Kiril i Metodii" is a public art school, located in Vidin, Bulgaria, where students have studied Bulgarian folk music and dances for decades. The school main aim is to preserve Bulgarian cultural identity. Folk dances have been a part of our cultural past for hundreds of years and they describe the spirit of the Bulgarian people.

1st Primary School of Alexandria

The 1st Primary School of Alexandria is a public school located in a provincial town of northern Greece. It was founded in 1956. The stone building’s traditional architecture, as well as its courtyard area of 6 acres make it a jewel of the city. Sculpture is the art that is connected with our country and our town from the ancient years until now.

Scuola secondaria I grado “Antonino de Stefano”

Scuola Secondaria di Primo grado Antonino de Stefano is a lower secondary school located in Erice, Trapani. Salt, ceramic and coral production are traditional arts in the school territory. Learning how these natural resources are processed inspire students about the importance to preserve our artistic and cultural heritage, the sense of unity and cooperation, the civic responsibility about the environment, and the art as expression of local history and tradition.

IES Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein secondary school is located in the north of the of city Seville, in a neighborhood called Pino Montano. It is a school with preferential educational attention because there are many families with limited economic situation and with serious problems of social exclusion. Art has been a way of motivating and bringing students to school. Flamenco is part of our culture and is experienced daily, not just in the streets of our city but also inside the school. The instruments, the dances and the songs are in the center of the music subject.

Anafartalar Ilkokulu

Anafartalar elementary school is a public school located in Izmir, Turkey's 3rd largest city. There are 852 students in our school and 85 of these students are refugees. The students of Anafartalar receive drama training every school year, including workshops on screen plays such as Hacivat-Karagöz, part of Turkish culture. The main goal is to make this culture sustainable with the help of local artists.

Agrupamento de Escolas Camilo Castelo Branco

The Camilo Castelo Branco group of schools is located in Vila Nova de Famalicão, Portugal. It is one of the largest school groups in the country and currently has over 3900 students. The intimate relationship with arts has always existed, enriched through the collaborative work with local artistic entities. Recently, the school identified potential partnerships in its community to develop the circus arts to promote an inclusive response.
